Serve. Support. Build.

Dear Parents and Families,

On behalf of the High Point Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, we are so excited about the 2024-25 school year! We have adopted the tagline “Serve. Support. Build.” because we believe in serving our school, supporting our community, and building our legacy.

The PTO members and officers who have come before us have built a tremendous resource for HPE students and staff.

Through the involvement and generosity of our members and partners, we are able to provide critical resources and valuable opportunities above those which can be covered by public funding. It is now our turn to continue their work and build upon their legacy.

In addition to financial support, HPE PTO members volunteer their time to serve our school in the classroom, at recess, at staff appreciation events, on the grounds, and in many other areas. Volunteering is a great way to meet members of our community and grow your connection with HPE. We hope that you will consider getting involved! Volunteer opportunities are made available throughout the year on Class Dojo, grade-level GroupMe channels, and through our PTO Volunteer link.

If you have questions about how to get involved, reach out to us at highpointpto.atl@gmail.com. This is going to be a great year!

We hope you will join us!

Emily Faucette & Laura Weekley

HPE PTO President & Vice President

We are excited about the school year that is ahead of us! Great success at any school does not happen without a team effort. The High Point staff is fully committed to working closely with parents and all stakeholders as we continue to focus on cultivating knowledgeable, compassionate, inquiring learners who impact our diverse community and achieve academic excellence.

High Point has an incredible community and parent involvement, particularly from the amazing Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The role of High Point’s PTO is to work collaboratively to support our educators and scholars in achieving the highest educational experience possible. Each year, the PTO provides many valuable resources, learning materials, and programs to our scholars. We invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, as well as attending and supporting school events.

Whatever level of participation you select, your time and involvement will certainly be appreciated. I am looking forward to a year of growth and excitement in learning as we work together!

In partnership,

Danielle Miller; Ed.D.
